Anti-Ragging Committee

The Anti-Ragging Committee at Karnataka College of Management and Science (KCMS) is constituted to ensure the safety and well-being of students, particularly freshers, by preventing any incidents of ragging on the campus. The committee works to create a safe, respectful, and welcoming environment for all students, fostering a culture of discipline and mutual respect.

Objectives of the Anti-Ragging Committee:

  1. To prevent any form of ragging on the campus.
  2. To create awareness among students about the consequences of ragging.
  3. To ensure strict action against any student found guilty of ragging.
  4. To take immediate action to address any complaints or reports of ragging.
  5. To provide counseling and support for victims of ragging.
  6. To implement preventive measures and conduct awareness programs for students and staff.

Composition of the Anti-Ragging Committee:

The Anti-Ragging Committee at KCMS comprises faculty members, non-teaching staff, student representatives, and legal experts, ensuring comprehensive and unbiased handling of complaints and issues related to ragging. The committee is headed by a senior faculty member and includes representatives from different departments, as well as the student council.

Functions of the Anti-Ragging Committee:
