Sexual Harassment in the Workplace
Karnataka College of Management and Science is dedicated to fostering a culture that upholds the principles of gender equality and equity. Sexual harassment is considered a serious violation that must be addressed with urgency and appropriate action at all levels. To ensure a proactive approach in preventing and addressing any form or degree of sexual harassment, the college has established an Anti-Sexual Harassment Committee.

Goal:
To provide a safe and inclusive environment for students, faculty, and non-teaching staff on campus, free from sexual harassment, gender violence, and discrimination based on sex and gender.

Objectives:

1. To define the standards of conduct and mutual respect concerning sexual harassment.
2. To create awareness about the guidelines for addressing and resolving cases of sexual harassment.
3. To establish a clear and effective mechanism for preventing and redressing instances of sexual harassment and other gender-based violence.
4. To promote a supportive social and psychological environment that encourages awareness and sensitivity toward sexual harassment and gender equity in its various forms.

By setting these goals and objectives, Karnataka College of Management and Science reiterates its commitment to providing a safe and respectful campus environment for all.
