The Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) program at KCMS is a 3-year undergraduate course designed to provide students with a strong foundation in computer science and information technology. The program blends theoretical knowledge with practical application to prepare students for the ever-evolving IT industry.

The eligibility criteria for the Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) program at Karnataka College of Management and Science (KCMS) are as follows:
Educational Qualification: Candidates must have completed their Pre-University Course (PUC) or 10+2 from a recognized board.
Minimum Marks: A minimum aggregate of 35% marks in the qualifying examination is required.
Subject Requirements: While there are no specific subject prerequisites, having studied Mathematics or Computer Science at the 10+2 level may be beneficial.

Industrial visit and learning outcomes
About Industrial Visit: An industrial visit was organized by the Department of BCA to enhance student’s knowledge on advance technology and to give an idea about which technology used in industries.

Outcome: They understood about research opportunities at IBM The students were able to understand the importance being updated with the latestØ technological. They understood get a deep insight about Green Data Center (GDC).They understood the internal working and perspective of an organization. They understood about various job / internship opportunities at IBM
