About Grievance Redressal cell
The Grievance Redressal Cell (GRC) aims to look into the complaints lodged by any student and redress it as per requirement. The Grievance Redressal Cell deals with all the types of grievances, complaints and malpractices including those received from students, Faculty and other stake holders. The students can state their grievance regarding any academic and non academic matter within the campus through the online and grievance/ suggestion box. The institution aims at solving the grievances of the students within stipulated academic and non- academic matter within the campus through the online and grievance/ suggestion box . Objectives of the cell
1. A Grievance cell is constituted for the redressal of the problems reported by the students of the college
2. Grievance cell is formed in order to keep the healthy working atmosphere amongst staff, students and parents
3. Reassuring the students to express their grievances / problems freely and frankly, without any fear of being victimized
4. Suggestion / complaint Box is installed in all the blocks in which the students (anonymity can be maintained), who want, put in their grievances and their suggestions for improving the academics .
5. Advising the students to respect the right and dignity of one another and show utmost restraint and patience whenever any occasion of rift arises.
6. Advising the staffs to be affectionate to the students and not behave in a vindictive manner towards any of them for any reason
7. Upholding the dignity of the college by ensuring strife free Atmosphere in the college through promoting cordial student-student relationship and student-teacher relationship etc.
8. Encouraging the students to express their grievance/ problems freely and frankly, without any fear of being victimized

Functions of the cell
1. To accept written grievances from the students and staff related to the system .
2. To create and implement the mechanism to handle the reported grievances.
3. To forward the findings to the management if necessary for further action .
4. The cases will be attended promptly on receipt of written grievances from the students.
5. The cell formally will review all cases and will prepare statistical reports about the number of cases received.
6. The cell will report to the authority about the cases attended to and the number of pending cases, if any, which require direction and guidance from higher authorities
7. To convene periodical meetings to discuss whether the grievances have been settled.
8. To make a follow –up of these matters at regular intervals till their final disposal.
9.To maintain strict confidentiality , if necessary.
Procedure
1.The students may feel free up a grievance in writing/online/in the format available in the administrative department and drop it in boxes.
2. The Grievance cell will act upon those cases which have been forwarded along with the necessary documents .
3. The Grievance cell will assure that the. Grievance has been properly solved in a stipulated time limit provided by the cell.
4. The person concerned can personally approach to any member of the cell and can send email or write an application and submit to cell convener for grievances of any sort.
5. The cases will be attended promptly on receipt of written grievances from the students. An aggrieved student shall first submit his complaint in writing his/her mentor who shall resolve the grievance within two days. In case the mentor is not able to resolve the grievance , he shall forwards it to the chairperson of the Grievance committee.
6.The cell will review all cases and will act formally accordingly, the chairperson of the committee shall convene a meeting of the committee within 2 days of receiving the complaint from the faculty mentor or from the aggrieved student in case he/she applies directly to the committee.
The cell outcome
It helps in resolving the issues of the students quickly and ensures them a sustainable environment. And it also helps to satisfy the basic needs of the students in the premises.
